Thanks to Wizards across the nation over $5,000 was raised to help children who were seriously injured in fires

In remembrance of National Fire Prevention Month in October,2012 the Wizard sold wristbands with the company’s slogan, “Prevent a Fire, Clean Your Dryer” for a small donation of just $5.00. The Wizard gave 100 percent of the wristband proceeds to the Children’s Burn Foundation, raising over $5,000 to help this worthy cause.
Over 17,000 dryer fires are reported each year resulting in deaths, injuries and nearly $200 million in property damage. Clogged dryer vents are a leading cause of dryer related hazards.
